A stunning snow white Snow Queen on stilts, blows about the streets as the icicles that hang from her fingers tinkle like glass. She blows the north wind into people’s faces and sprinkles them with snow as her blue lips whisper icy greeting into their frost bitten ears. The Snow Queen is accompanied by one of her elves from Lapland who leaps on and off her huge white snowball, juggling smaller snowballs as she globe walks around the passers-by. The elf throws large handfuls of fake snow and hops into sprightly acrobatic balances as they both leave a little piece of the North Pole wherever they go.
The Scandinavian Christmas Market is a partnership between Southwark Council, The Norwegian Church in London, The Finnish Church in London and Scan Events.
